PTP to MTP with Samsung Galaxy S4 that has a broken, blacked-out screen?

My Galaxy S4 has broken, blacked-out screen. My phone is fine. I can hear message notifications and I can receive a call by voice command but I am not able to transfer my pictures from the phone to my computer since it is in PTP mode. Can you change PTP to MTP with broken, blacked-out screen?

Unfortunately, there is no way to change your phone to PTP to MTP mode with a broken screen. The only thing you can try at this point is to download Samsung Kies by clicking this link, installing the application, and then plugging your device into your computer. Kies will open and, if your phone isn't locked, allow you to transfer your files. If your phone is locked with a pattern lock, however, you are out of luck; Kies won't allow you to transfer your files without your phone being unlocked.
