My HKC P886A tablet has problems turning on. How do I fix this issue?
It gave me a broken Android picture with a red symbol with an exclamation point in it. How do I get it to work again? Everything talks about having to hold power buttons down with the volume keys but this one doesn't have volume keys.
Since your HKC P866A Android tablet, doesn't have volume keys, you will need to try a couple of other key combinations to try to boot your tablet into its recovery mode. They're listed in the VisiHow article below, but here are the combinations that may work for you since you do not have volume keys to use:
- Home + Camera button
- Home + Power button
If you try these button combinations and they don't work for you, you will need to contact HKC to find out how you can boot your tablet into its recovery mode so you can perform a Factory Reset and fix your tablet's issue. If the customer service representative you talk to is unable to help you, or if your tablet for whatever reason doesn't have a recovery mode, you may need to send your tablet in for repairs to fix the issue.
Mine is a HKC p776a, where can I take it to have it checked out?
When I turn it on, it won't stay on. I have to hold the power button, it comes on and then goes right off. It is fully charged but I can never use it and when it does come on it won't turn off with the power button . I have to let the battery run down. I have tried: Not much of anything I just put it away for the moment but would like to use it again. I think it was caused by: I have no idea, no one used it but myself
First of all, check if the battery contacts are touching the device contacts. It may be required to prop the battery up against the contacts with a piece of folded paper or a piece of an eraser. Otherwise, you will need to contact the support office at email@example.com. The customer support numbers are +31 (0) 24 34 34 230 (Europe) and +1 (888) 999-1683 (USA).
If you wish to skip the hassle, then just address the nearest service center where any smart devices can be repaired, regardless of their brand.
