Open Notifications on Nexus 6P

Steps

    From the home screen you can take one finger and swipe down from the top to reveal notifications

    Another way of revealing notifications is when your phone is turned off

    If you have the Lock Screen enabled, when you turn the phone back on, it will display the notifications on the Lock Screen

    On your notifications, you can dismiss them by swiping to the left

    Or, if you'd like to open it, double click on the notification

    It will now ask for your passcode

    I will use my fingerprint.

    Now it will take me to the text messaging App, where I can read the message or respond to it

    Finally, if you'd like to remove all of your notifications, swipe down with one finger from the top of the screen

    Then, tap on the layered icon on the bottom right
