Open Folders and Files with a Single Click
Edited by Lukward Thomason, Imado, Eng, Anonymous
Hi. you are watching VisiHow, and this is a tutorial on how to be able to open files and folders in a single click on Windows 7 computers.
- 5As you can see a new window is open, and it has several tabs, General, View and Search.Once we are in the General Tab, there are several options here, one of them is "click items as follows", if you are like me you have selected double click to open an item or if you want to change it you will only need a single click to select it, so point to select.
- 6If you choose this, you will be able to hover your mouse on the folder and then single click to open it.There are two additional options to this it is "underline icon titles consistent with my browser" or "only when I pointed them" the difference between the two is if you click the first one then all of the folders and files will be underlined, the second one they will be highlighted only when you have pointed at them. Click on OK.
- 11Thank you for watching VisiHow, if you have any other comments or questions please leave them in the comment section below.Advertisement
