Hi, guys, all month long we are going to be sharing easy weeknight dinner ideas that can all be made in a single dish because who needs more dishes in our life?


Today, it is all about one-pot pasta. One-pot pasta has taken the internet by storm. We are not going to take credit for the idea. It is not our idea but we are very excited to share it with you if you haven't already seen it.

Today, we are going to show you the classic one-pot pasta, a glorious one-pot linguine that is loaded with beautiful green vegetables, and finally, a chili cheese one-pot pasta that you are going to want to stick around for. Trust us on this one.

Method 1: Classic One-Pot Pasta

Let's get started with our classic one-pot pasta. This is the one that is all over the internet right now.

    We are getting started with a dutch oven on a stove

Method 2: One-Pot Veggie Linguine

Next stuff, we want to show you a creamy, dreamy, veggie linguine. It is so easy to make.

Steps

    To our pot, we are going to add our linguine

    Next, we are going to add some minced garlic

    Add a cup of milk
    .
    The milk is going to help make the recipe really deliciously creamy. If you want to make it more decadent, you could swap out the milk for some cream. Trust us that it would be amazing but a that's a little more on the indulgence side.

    We are just going to season the recipe up with some salt, pepper and some olive oil

    We are actually going to start by putting the lead on the pot

    What we want to do is give our pasta a bit of a head start before we add our vegetable to avoid overcooked vegetables.

    After about 5 minutes, we are going to take the lead off the pot and we are going to give our linguine a good toss with some thongs

    We want to make sure that they don't stick together.

    Next, we are going to add some vegetables

    Sometimes we just need to get some greens in there. In this case, we are adding a whole lot of broccoli.

    All that we are going to do is toss all of this together, put on the lid and reduce the heat to medium-low
    .
    We are going to let is simmer for 10 to 15 minutes or until the veggies and the pasta are cooked through. Be sure to stir it at least every 2 or 3 minutes though because it loves to sit in the bottom of the pot. Trust us on this one. We are trying to make it as easier- not harder.

Method 3: Chili Cheese One-Pot Pasta

Finally, on the menu today, I have some chili cheese one-pot pasta that I think you and your family would absolutely love.

    In our pot, we are going to heat up some oil over medium high heat

    After that, we are going to add some finely diced onion and saute them until they are soft and damp

    We are going to add two cloves of minced garlic and saute that for another 30 seconds or so

    Then it's time to add our beef

    You could use poultry if you wanted to or you could keep this entirely vegetarian and just add twice as many beans.

    Then we are going to add some seasonings

    We've got some chili powder, some ground cumin, and some garlic powder. We would like to toss up our spices for 30 seconds to a minute to really bring those flavors out really well. The house starts to smell really good.
