On my ZTE prestige Android Android phone some of the keys don't respond (the r key)?
I have a ZTE prestige (boost mobile) Android phone, however, I no longer use boost mobile (that's another story) but it worked well with browsing via my WiFi and I was using it like a tablet, until recently when some of the keys of the onscreen keyboard quit responding. For example you can drag your finger or press the e key then the r key then the t key and it will make it's appear as your finger moves left until it makes e's but it never makes an r no matter how much pressure is applied over the r in addition when the phone is turned on its side the screen turns 90 degrees as expected but the problem persists even though those same keys occupy a different part of the screen; so it isn't hardware. 1.different make/model
2. different problem
my problem doesn't seem even remotely similar to the content of that article. I have tried: Tried a factory data reset but I can't get past the "please log in to the same Google account which this phone was synced previously" because I'm unable to complete the username (it has an r in it). I think it was caused by: A virus or hacker that got in via our WiFi on the computer I'm now using I can only log in as administrator and my new phone was also locked but a factory reset handled that. we're also locked out of our Netgear modem so I can't change the WiFi password
