Samsung Galaxy Note3 won't accept correct password?
Device has App Locker so even if I remotely install an unlocking app the phone won't open.
Being locked out of your Samsung Galaxy Note3 is an annoying problem. However, there are a couple of things you can try to unlock your device so you can use it again.
The first thing you should try is the Google account information method. This method will allow you to unlock your phone by simply entering the account information for the Google account that is linked to your phone. To do this method, do the following:
- Turn your phone on.
- Enter the wrong password up to 20 times.
- Enter your Google account information.
- Your tablet will now unlock, allowing you to change or remove the password to something you can remember.
If you don't remember your Google account information, go to this site to try to recover it.
If you didn't log into a Google account before the phone locked itself, or if you can't recover the information for whatever reason, you will need to perform a Factory Reset on your Samsung Galaxy Note3. This method will unfortunately delete all of your phone's data; however, it is the only way you can unlock your phone so you can use it again. To learn how to perform a proper Factory Reset on your Samsung Galaxy Note3, read through and follow the steps in this great VisiHow article. Once the reset is complete, be sure to log your Galaxy Note3 into a Google account to which you know the information so you don't have to perform a Factory Reset in the future.
- If you have problems with any of these steps, ask a question for more help, or post in the comments section below.
