Corporate dinner invitations are always formal, unless they are for a themed party, where light chat, or fun twists on phrases are appropriate. For your purposes, I will assume it is formal, and make recommendations for your company dinner invitations.

XYZ company is pleased to welcome you to our annual dinner at the Marriott Dining Facility. We will be offering hors d'oeuvres for early arrivals, with dinner served at 7 o'clock sharp, and a selection of the finest desserts to finish the evening.
