How to best achieve using high pitch?
I want to be able to sing with a clear and sweet voice
High-pitch vocals are coveted by many a singer, and achieving the higher notes may take months of daily practice. While having a sweet voice can be understood differently by each singer, attaining it means understanding what it is in your comfortable range and extrapolating this to the higher range. For daily practice, you will need to work on expanding your range and even employ falsetto when needed, as shown in this tutorial. Sing the warm-up exercises with the piano and gradually go higher by half-steps until you are not comfortable. Stop on that inconvenient note. Work on getting either to that note or the note before it from the lower range, strengthen your diaphragm, and form a correct standing posture when singing. Change your daily diet as shown in our tutorial and give up second- and third-hand smoking, any alcohol, or acidic food. Start singing at the same time of the day, preferably within two hours after waking up, and drink warm licorice or honey tea one hour before practicing. Keep up the good work, and your range will broaden!
