My singing voice is messed up. What should I do?

I had the flu recently. I'm still recovering and I've felt much better but my singing voice is going from high to low and I can't hit barely any of my notes right. My voice sounds completely different since then. And I feel I have a lot of mucus still in my throat. What should I do? I'm 17 by the way.

Make sure you are drinking plenty of water. You will want to keep your vocal cords hydrated. In addition, don't strain your voice too much while you recover. It may take up to a week after the flu has gone away for your voice to return to normal. In the meantime, drink plenty of water and make sure you don't strain or sing too often while you recover. In addition, warm tea with lemon and honey will help to break up any excess mucus in your throat so you can sing better, as well. Do these two things for about a week; if you aren't hitting your notes the way you want to by then, you will want to talk to your doctor to learn about any medical treatments or medicines that you can do to fix your singing voice.

How do I remedy Voice breaks/cracks?

I've been sing tenor for the past 4 years. Though I sing soprano and alto sometimes. Now I find it difficult to sing soprano smoothly, without breaks/crack in my voice. Singing with my chest voice is OK, but singing with head voice is a bit straining except I shout to let it out. How do I remedy this condition
