Samsung S5 does not recognize 64 GB microSD card anymore?

I bought a 64 GB microSD card. Worked for about a day, moved pictures and programs over to card then the next day it says nothing on card after battery died and I plugged it into recharge battery

Try restarting your device by removing the battery, reinserting it, and powering it back on. You might also connect the device to your computer and attempt a firmware update.

Lastly, try the SD card on a different device. If you're able to access the files, try backing them up and then formatting the card, then moving the files back on board. You'll need to make sure to copy over the hidden files as well.

If nothing works, try a different SD card on your phone and see if it works. This will help you determine whether the phone or the SD card is at fault.

Just bought 64GB Samsung microSD. PC running Windows XP will not recognize the SD?

Do I need a driver to read the SD card on my PC?

Yes, the reason for that is that exFAT file-system format cannot be seen by Windows XP. Install "WindowsXP-KB955704-x86-ENU" to read the microSD card. As another solution, reformat the card in the FAT32 file system on your computer.

Cannot move apps from phone memory to SD card any more, phone memory now filling up. Tried reformatting but my Apple Mac can 'see' the card but not reformat it, the option is there but it's 'greyed out'.

Is there a way to re-format a non readable microSD card?

I have a new microSD card but it cannot be recognized by my Gopro hero 3 black , brand new Galaxy S5, or two different laptops. The company that sold it to me said they tested it twice and it definitely works.

I have a brand new Samsung 16GB microSD card. I format it and it goes through the steps of formatting but it still shows Format SD card in Storage?

I just purchased a Samsung 16GB microSD card for my Galaxy S5. It shows in Storage and the Format SD card is there and I click it and go through the steps to format it. It appears it's working but when I go back to Storage it's as though I haven't formatted It.. I have tried: There's a SIM card below the microSD card. I have taken both out and inserted them and they look fine. Obviously the card is acknowledged in Storage but I am still unable to format it. If there's a step I missed, please let me know. Thank you

Hey there, I got an Akai phone that won't accept my SD card, tried it all, basic treatments and all?

Its an Akai alexio, new recently bought, no harm done, been doing great since I put the SD card 32 GB, but it worked fine just for short time, after draining the battery at his first shut-off, the next time I charged, it has no sign of the card no matter what I do there, I got no reliable source to check if its a problem with the card itself (hope not), its a micro sanDisk card and if Akai somehow managed to erase what I had there, I would like to know if this sort of dark voodoo is possible and if so, say so now, so I have time to mourn it. Hope you can find me a solution. Thanks. I have tried: Taking battery out, putting it back. Rubbing it, huffing and puffing on it, whispering good words, begging please . connecting USB to PC. No show in PC, no sign of phone nor SD card. I think it was caused by: The only thing that could have had this tragedy is plugging it to a charger that noted me its receiving an over powered electricity but as soon as I noticed its talking to me, I changed charger (actually a number of chargers till I noticed the USB connection that fits the smart phones of the common people) so yup that is the only blame I can think I know for sure
