My screen fell out...and now the screen is blank. It's still vibrating and blue buttons either side of home button work?

My screen fell out/off of the phone, as in the whole LCD front...and now, (even after re-joining LCD connection tape?) it is blank. It is still vibrating and the blue keys left and right of home button are lit. . . ...It could also be possible that perhaps I haven't reconnected the screen to phone correctly? Please direct me on what to do, if this is possible? Many thanks. Lauren :)

Galaxy S5 black screen, the phone was locked to Vodafone UK, I unlocked it in a local repair shop. Everything was functional for more than 9 months. then there were some updates which were applied. After update software was done and phone restarted, it was fine. the next day I could hardly use the apps, the phone was running so slow, but still working, I had played Candy Crash on it before I went to bed. Wake up in the morning with a black screen, nothing works at all phone is completely dead. I watched YouTube videos and applied them, all possible ways, nothing works. Took it to a local repair shop they said that LCD is dead and it's 100 quids. I doubted their advice because the phone is not even powering up, nothing at all, signal and charging indicators are not functional, please advise?

Cannot backup with Smart Switch when the screen is not working?

I'm trying to backup my Samsung Galaxy S5 using Smart Switch, cause my phone screen has stopped working. It's stopping at trying to backup the contacts (0%) and has been there for almost 10 minutes. I can't backup my phone using Smart Switch. Kiew 3 doesn't allow me to access the phone. I have tried: Tried Kies 3 (not allowed to backup) and Smart Switch, an older version because I cannot seem to install the new version. I double click the install and nothing happens. I think it was caused by: Not sure. I can't get the new version of Smart Switch to work on Windows 10
