I've never had problems downloading picture to my computer from my S5?

I'm using the same cord. I've turned my phone on and off. I've tried a different cord. I've tried different computers. When I see the phone icon on my screen and double click to open it, it shows nothing. When I select "download photos", it says there are none.

I can see the transfer has occurred, but the PC is asking me to label each file and I cannot view the photos (except the first two files--but there are 1100 pics!)

I figured out how to make the transfer. The PC tells me to label each file of photos (they are grouped by date & time, it says). The first two files' photos are visible, but and half of the third files' photos are visible, but none of the rest. I can't label them if I can't see what they are. I gave it some more time, thinking the rest of the photos needed more time to process (and become visible) but that doesn't seem to be happening. Any suggestions?

The best and quickest workaround is to label them photo-0001 and photo-0002 and so on, then check them on the PC and label them properly as needed.

S5 movie files won't drop from phone to computer, they won't even show up on the computer when I click the folder they are in?

Can't locate my phone's jpg's on my desktop computer?

I can find my phone and my phone's memory card on my desktop computer, but there are no files showing up. I'm trying to move my photos off of my phone to free up space. Can't access the actual data on the phone from my computer. I have tried: Completed the USB connection from my Samsung S5 as a media device. It wants to sync to my desktop using windows media player, but that does not allow me to transfer anything of my phone. I think it was caused by: My desktop is old (2006), so perhaps it just isn't compatible. Not sure the phone is being properly recognized as a storage device.
