Questions and Answers

My phone is showing a backup pin and I have forgotten my pin and Google account, have not used the phone for two years and now I am locked out, can you help?

I can't unlock my phone which is a stylo LG phone. I have tried: Restarted it, that did not work. I think it was caused by: Forgot my pattern code

Since you have not used this phone for two years, you can try to recall your Google Account by using [Google Accounts Recovery]. Your phone will need to be active with data available and/or have WiFi on for this to work. You can also hard reset the device. This will clear out all data but also the passwords which you have forgotten. Turn off your device. Press and hold the Power and Volume Down buttons. Once the LG logo appears then let go of the Power button but keep pressing Volume Down. Tap the Power button by pressing and holding once more and the Recovery Menu will appear. Do not panic after the hard reset if the phone asks for the Google Account last associated with the device. Watch and follow the YouTube Tutorial posted by Rootjunky to bypass your Google Account on an LG device after a hard reset.
