If you logged into a Google account, you may be able to unlock your phone without having to perform a Factory Reset. Enter the wrong password on your phone up to 20 times until your phone asks for your Google account information. Enter it; your phone will now unlock, allowing you to change or remove the password so you can use your phone again. If you have forgotten your Google account information, click here to try to recover it. If you can't recover your information, or if you never logged into a Google account in the first place, you will have to perform a Factory Reset. This method will delete all of your phone's data. To learn how to perform a Factory Reset on your Android device, read through and follow the steps in this great VisiHow article. After the reset is complete, be sure to log your device into a Google account to which you know the password so you don't have to perform a Factory Reset in the future.

How can I recover an Android device that has not a factory reset?

What I mean is that when I try hard resetting the device by holding volume down+power button the factory reset does not appear in the recovery menu. I only have a factory recovery option and when I select it there is a message that says no recovery partition found or something like that. What can I do in this case?
