The only thing you can do is put it in the rice for at least 48 hours. Make sure the phone and rice are in an airtight container. Also, if you can get some silica like the little packets that come in purses and shoes, these are even better than rice for water contamination. Before turning on the device after 48 hours, make sure there is no condensation present. You can use a can of forced air to see if any bubbles appear which would mean there is still moisture present. A fine mist from the forced air is also an indicator.
