There can be many causes to that. Let us review some of those.

  • No charge in the laptop. Charge your HP 15 by plugging it into a functional wall outlet.
  • Accumulated current in the battery. Remove the battery and press and hold the power button for about 1 minute. Connect the laptop to a charger. Remove all of the USB devices and turn the laptop on.
  • Dust causing overheating. Blow dust out of your laptop by using a can of compressed air on the keyboard and on the bottom surface of the laptop.
  • Damaged internal components. Send the laptop to a Hewlett-Packard service center.

HP 250 G1can't read anything. "boot device not not found 3f0" is the only message that appears?

I'm using an HP 250 G1. I took out the HDD (Seagate 500GB) & used it on a friends laptop & it was working. I took his HDD & the screen message was "boot device not found". Please help. I have tried: Trying to use a different HDD to see if it can read. I think it was caused by: Upgrading to Windows 10

New build and screen won't turn on?

Hi I built my first computer today, and after completing everything I connected to an HDMI port and there was no signal, so I stole the monitor from another computer and connected using the monitor port still with no success, the motherboard lights up, the case fans turns on, the CPU heat sink turns on, the video card turns on, at least the fans and a light but I still cannot get a video signal, any advice. I have tried: I have reinstalled everything, using 1 stick of RAM instead of 2 in both different slots. I think it was caused by: Completely unsure

I have a gateway PC and since yesterday the screen is blank?

CPU turns on, shows light, I hear sound coming from my HDD but no beeps. Another worry is no power in USB, no red light from mouse nor any lights on the keyboard. I don't know what to do? Any suggestions?. . Thank you. No power in USB, that is not mentioned in the article. I have tried: Tried changing RAM, unplug and plug everything back. But no luck so far. I think it was caused by: I have no idea. Windows did run an update last and then the computer was shut down properly.

If the motherboard is damaged does anything appear on screen?

I have a Moto e2, the repair center have said the motherboard is damaged, still I can see the Moto logo and reboot page on phone. The article is about the computer motherboard and I am talking about the phone motherboard. I have tried: I did not try anything but instead I had given to the service center. I think it was caused by: The phone have fallen down few times, maybe that is the problem, not sure about this but I think so!

I'm running through the steps and it crashes when graphics card and RAM sticks are inserted. Sometimes it crashes in 3-4 minutes, Sometimes half an hour?

Started crashing like this all the sudden on Friday night while playing WOW. I have had problems with it crashing over the last year but only 1-2 times a week while playing. Now it crashes shortly after startup.

Screen goes blank after anywhere from a few minutes to a couple hours -?

First time screen went blank right after playing a game. Went away a couple days now happens anywhere from boot up to 2-3 hours at most. All temps reported good. Was thinking video card, checked re seated heat sink, changed power cable to card, changed PCI slot, changed power supply. Moved memory. Goes blank in Windows 7 & 10 and when in BIOS/CMOS screen. Hard drive read/write goes out - tried 2nd hard drive - same results. Thinking Motherboard since HD lights go out when screen goes blank. M5A99fx pro 2. with 6 months warranty left. Don't want to send good parts out some trying to be sure. Well I always get a good post beep. Sometimes boots sometimes doesn't. Got it working for up to a few hours - so not completely dead yet, but not reliable enough to do anything more than browse. Doesn't act like anything I've seen prior and I've lost video cards, CPU's, mother boards, drives, memory, externals etc. I have tried: Answered prior. Only thing I have not tried is another video card, because seems every old one I have doesn't fit they must be agp or something. I think it was caused by: A cap or something going out, but I don't see anything obvious. Something is intermittently failing on the video or motherboard.
