Questions and Answers

My boyfriend is spending time with his ex, but says I shouldn't worry. How do I figure out what is really going on and if I should wait for him to handle the situation with her?

My boyfriend and I have been together for 5 months. We spend almost every weekend together. But I noticed that another woman has been using his shower. He finally admitted that it is his ex...she is helping him refinance his house and she is suicidal. He says he's trying to be kind for now and waiting for the refinance to happen. He asked me to trust him to take care of it. I have fallen in love with him and this is painful and confusing. . I have met his kids, he has told his kids that he and I are in a serious relationship. And I've heard him on phone calls telling his mom and sister about me. he's asked me not to see anyone else, he calls me his girl and gets jealous, he says he cares about me and likes me a lot and thinks about me all the time.I feel like I need to set boundaries and maybe a deadline for him to get her out if his life. I want to get more info and ask questions but I don't know what the right questions are

Should I cool it on our relationship for a while to give him space and see if he really care?

I met my boyfriend online in May. We met for coffee first on May 9th. I found out shortly after that he was only out of a 7 years relationship for 2 weeks. He claimed it was bad for 1 1/2-2 years. She cheated on him more than once. Against my own gut feeling I stayed. May 23rd we were on his boat kissing in the dark when his ex hopped on and caused an uncomfortable situation. She used the f word with me and called me a c**t! All I said was she needed to learn some respect. He has assured me that it is nothing for me to be worried out. He has told me he loves me regularly. He told me he would take all her stuff that was at his house in trips to her work or home when she would not be there. I stopped asking insecure questions re: phone calls, face to face, etc. Yesterday I realized when I arrived at his house for an overnight that she had been in the house. He claimed he knew nothing and appeared upset. He said she claimed she gave her key back but that she could have made a spare & that he would change the lock and call to let her have it! It's been almost 3 months now. She does things like text, call, comment on his Facebook status, post pictures to her Facebook of them together in 2011. Now this!. I have tried: Being mature and trusting him to do the right thing. I think it was caused by: He finally left the final load of belongings in her garage and she knows there's no more reason for him to see/talk to her. Also the Facebook relationship status
