I have a

One Touch Pixi 4007D that stopped working suddenly! I used the upgrade tool from Alcatel & finalized the upgrade OK. It worked for 4 days but freezes again. I repeated the upgrade again, then tried to turn it on, the opening not completed but the mobile repeated the incomplete opening by itself 5 times so I removed the battery. Tried to hold the volume+power to get to the safe mode, reset to factory & reboot the mobile. The mobile froze at One Touch Pixi logo, I tried to use the upgrade tool, the steps were fine till step 3/4 and at 74% of it, it stopped & a pop up notice stated: Download image error (Error code 3040), some problems happened during upgrade process, remove battery and try again I did as stated but no change, I got the same error. Did I damage the hardware? If not, how can I get my mobile a life again? Thanks very much. The error message Error code 3040 not usual & new for me.1st- I don't know if I caused a permanent damage to the mobile or not? 2nd- are there any diagnoses what has happened? 3rd- How can this error be solved by software? (if any!). Is it worth to spend on it for repair? Or it is useless & its better to get new mobile? Thanks.
