My Samsung galxy S5 won't turn on after factory reset?

Last week I rooted my phone and I read to get rid of it I need to factory reset so I backed everything to my SD card took it out and clicked the factory reset option. My phone turned off and wouldn't turn back on. If I remove the battery then put it straight back in and press the volume up key and power on key my phone flashes the Samsung screen and says recovery booting then the screen goes and its back again, I can also get it to the download screen which then just freezes. My battery was fully charged before the factory reset and I left it charging all night.. I have tried: Taking the battery out, taking the SIM card out, holding down all 3 buttons, holding down 2, holding down 1.. I think it was caused by: Root?

My Samsung won't turn itself on. How can I get it to work?

My Samsung S5 shut itself down for no reason, and now I cannot turn it on. I am worried. Have I lost all my photos and memos? I have tried all: holding the power button down, volume down, and plugging it into the computer options; but nothing happens... I have tried: plugging it into a computer, trying a different battery, and holding the volume button and power button together. I think it was caused by: Unknown.

You should try other USB cables too:
it is possible that your cable is broken. You ought to purchase only S5-compatible cables.

If you were charging the device from a computer, then charge it from a wall socket.
And vice versa: if you were charging it from a wall socket, charge it from the back USB port of the computer with no extension cables in between.

Samsung Galaxy S5 won't turn on, I have tried everything on here but it still won't work?

I have tried everything on VisiHow but it still won't turn on. When I plug it in, to a socket or computer, the battery comes on screen and then it fills up 100% but it won't turn on with the power button and when I press the volume key the battery comes on but still won't turn on. The green light shows when it is plugged in but doesn't when it isn't plugged in. Does this make sense to you

A Samsung S5 phone won't switch on.

I have tried charging it with two different chargers, so it is not a problem with the charger. I have tried charging the smartphone and taking out its battery. I think it was caused by: I do not have a clue. It is only 18 months old.

  • Do not use different chargers: you need to use the native S5 cord and adapter only (like this one).
  • Then, if you used a wall socket, then switch to charging from your computer (and vice versa). Always use the USB ports on the back of your computer without any extension cable.
  • Check the miniUSB port of your smartphone. A small tag in the middle must not be bent. If it is, then straighten it up with a needle or another small object.
  • Press and hold volume-down, home, and power buttons. If a download menu lights up, then you can reflash the smartphone by using this tutorial. In step 1, download your S5 firmware from SamMobile by selecting your model, country, and carrier.
  • If nothing above works, then you will need to fix the smartphone at your nearest Samsung service center.

My Samasung Galaxy S5 got real hot, and now won't start back up. Any suggestions?

Initially, out of nowhere, I felt phone in my pocket really hot. So, pressed a bunch of different things to get it to go back to 'Home', and that didn't work. Pulled battery, put it back in, wouldn't start. Tried Power Button and Volume Up button, with no result. Anyways to help?
