Remember that TalkBack requires two fingers to scroll and two taps to select something. Keeping this in mind, follow the directions in the great VisiHow guide below to learn how to turn TalkBack mode off. Once the mode has been turned off, your scrolling and tapping will go back to normal.

Why did my S3 stop announcing the name of my caller?

It worked before, but today it stopped announcing the name of my callers.

Either the TalkBack feature has been disabled or there is a software failure. At any rate, reboot your smartphone first. Then, press the home button. Tap on "Apps" > "Settings" > "Accessibility" > "TalkBack". Enable the "TalkBack" toggle. If it was enabled, then disable it, reboot your smartphone, and reenable it.
