Conversion of language to English from Chinese?
After restoring factory settings of my HTC desire, its language turned to Chinese! I have looked for the setting of reconverting it to English, but I can't find it
- Tap the home button.
- Tap the button in the middle at the bottom of the screen.
- Scroll up or down to find the cog icon.
- Tap it.
- Scroll up or down to the icon with a sheet of paper and the letter "A" inside of it.
- Tap it.
- Tap the topmost option.
- Select the English language by tapping it.

Hi, actually I'm having a problem with my new Lenovo K3 Note mobile phone. I purchased it yesterday and it was working fine till today morning. However, now there's a headset icon showing in the notification panel due to which I'm not able to talk on my phone and I need to talk by putting phone on speaker mode. Due to this reason, someone suggested me to go to BOOT menu of my phone by pressing power button and up volume button. However, the options are appearing in Chinese language. Turn off the phone. Remove the battery, SIM card, and SD card. Wait for about 5 minutes. Put the phone back together and reboot the device. If the headset symbol is still there, you can hard reset the device. This YouTube Tutorial shows you how to hard reset your device.

Watch this YouTube Tutorial on how to hard reset the cloned i9500. You may have to install new firmware onto the device because your message is usually a sign of broken OS. If you do need to install ROM. There are several websites which list the ROM for a cloned phone. Just be sure you get the ROM specifically for your device. You must have let the battery completely drain before charging. Remove the battery for 5 minutes and connect the charger without the battery. My Samsung GT-I9000 is in Chinese?
I bought this phone off a Chinese boy who has now moved back to China, and I factory erased the phone because his Google play password was still activated but when I turned on the phone the settings about the WiFi were all in Chinese or Japanese I am not quite sure yet. You need to change the system language back to English. Change Your Android System Language is a VisiHow article with video that shows you how to change the language. You should have the English version in your Language settings. If you do not, then go to Sammobile, find your device in the list of ROM and pick the US region.

Pull the battery for 5 minutes and try again. You may have to do this several times before the phone finally agrees to factory reset.

You will turn off the tablet and hold down the Volume Up, Volume Down and the Power buttons. Then once you find the eMMC you will want to hit the Power button to confirm.
