Start off by unlocking the phone.
To unlock it, we need to press the Lock button on the right side of the phone. Press it once. Then, swipe the screen down to unlock.
Once the screen is unlocked, we need to open the emulator.
In this case, the emulator is in the "Emulators" folder. Tap the folder.
Once it opens, we need to go to "Preferences".
Then, we need to scroll down to locate "Map extra functions".
To scroll down, we need to swipe up on the screen. Tap it once.
Then, we need to tap "Map virtual buttons".
We can add up to six virtual buttons.
If we wanted to map an extra function to "Virtual button 1", we have to tap it.
Then choose from the available functions.
For example, we can tap it to make L1 and R1 press at the same time. Tap this option
Now for "Virtual Button 2", we can assign it to the "SaveState1".
For the "Virtual Button 3", "LoadState1" and so on.
Once we have set all the buttons that we need, press the Back button on the lower left corner of the phone three times.
The preferences have been saved.
