Method 1: Setup or Change
Hello, you are watching VisiHow. In this video, I will show you how to setup or change the password on your iPhone 6.
Let us access the 'Settings'.
It is the gray gear-shaped icon.
Then scroll down, you will see two little red squares.
You need to access the one that says 'Touch ID & Passcode'
Tap on 'Touch ID & Passcode'.
To setup the passcode, scroll down a little bit and you can see little blue letters in the section that says 'Turn Passcode On'
Tap on 'Turn Passcode On'.
Now it is asking you to set up a four-digit passcode.
Let us see, it will be 7777.
It will ask you to confirm it, again enter 7777 passcode.
Now your passcode is setup.
Let us turn the phone OFF by pressing on the 'Home Button'.
Let us see what happens when we unlock it.
Slide to unlock.
Here you go, 'Enter Passcode' is requested.
We need to tap the passcode, for example, tap on 8521, it is wrong passcode, and the phone will not unlock.
In case if you decided to change your passcode.
This is what you do. You go again and tap on 'Touch ID & Passcode' section.
Before you do any changes your phone will be asking you again for your current passcode 7777.
Now you have an access and you are able to edit your passcode, scroll down and tap on 'Change Passcode'.
Before you change your passcode, you need to enter the old one again 7777.
Then you will be prompted to enter your new passcode.
This time we will dial 0805.
Next, you will be prompted to re-enter your passcode.
Your new passcode and the re-entered passcode must match for the new passcode to be accepted and changed.
Close the phone again by pressing the 'Home button', then press it again to wake up the phone, the 'Enter Passcode' will show.
Let us try the old passcode 7777. The phone did not accept it.
Now, we will enter the new one, 0805.
The phone accepted and it is unlocked.

Method 2: Turn OFF
Hello, you are watching VisiHow. In this video, I will teach you how to turn the passcode OFF on iPhone 6.
Press on the 'Home button' to wake up the iPhone.
Currently, we have the passcode which we no longer want to see when we slide to unlock.
Let us go to the 'Settings'.
Scroll down to reach 'Touch ID & Passcode' and tap on it.
It will ask you to enter the passcode again.
After you type your passcode, you have access to the privacy section of the passcode.
When scroll down you will see this 'Turn Passcode Off'.
Tap on 'Turn Passcode Off'.
Again, your phone will ask for your passcode confirmation.
Tap the passcode 0805.
Let us check the passcode, if the passcode is really off.
Turn the phone OFF.
Tap on the 'Home Button', then slide to unlock the phone.
We have done it, no passcode is required to unlock.
