Sony Xperia ZL warning messages error - what does it mean?

  1. 1
One warning message error is the "Read" error.
Some users don't know what the problem is because they don't have any applications on. But some say that when removing the SD card and putting it back, the problem is gone.
Was this step helpful? Yes | No | I need help

  2. 2
One Xperia ZL user said that the Read error might have something to do with his credit card being in the same case as that of the Xperia.
He suspects that the phone was trying to read the chip in the credit card.
Was this step helpful? Yes | No | I need help

  3. 3
    Battery indicator error.
It will tell the user the battery life left of the Xperia ZL. But there are some issues with its accuracy. Some users have said that most times, the battery indicator message is telling the wrong values. When the phone reaches under 40 percent and then the user turns the phone off and then on again, the indicator will show a life of 50 to 60 percent, making the user confused. But if the phone indicates 20 percent, it will suddenly shut down. Sony has to do something about this or else the buyers of its phones will make it their last Sony phone.

  4. 4
This battery indicator error is a kernel-level bug, some users say.
Until Sony fixes this bug, the user should not let his Sony phone's battery go empty. You should leave it charged even after the indicator says 100 percent. Most likely, the percentage prior to shutting the phone down and then putting it on again is the correct percentage. Do not trust the percentage that the indicator says after putting on the phone again.

  5. 5
Unexpected error message when increasing the sound level of the phone.
One user said that he increased the volume of his Xperia to a not-so-deafening 60 percent of its maximum level. But the phone gave out an unexpected error message, warning that the user might be expecting permanent damage to his ears because of his increase in volume of sound action.

Xperia zl update won't let me use anything like data, texting?

I recently just updated my Xperia zl and now I cannot send or receive text messages or use data

Connect your Xperia to Sony's PC Companion. Let it run through a systems check. If you still can't use any data or SMS then go into your Applications Manager and Clear Data from the SMS app. Restart the phone and try again. Upon more failure, put your phone into Recovery Mode and Wipe Cache Partition. The phone will restart and then you will go through the process again selecting this time Clear Dalvik Cache. This removes anything left behind causing interference with the new update. If all of these completely fail, revert the OS and do the update again.

My phone is an Xperia L. Cannot send text?

I have a 1 week old Xperia L. It cannot sent texts. There are three other Xperia phones in the house. All OK. One of them Is the same as the one not working. Any suggestions?

Check your text message settings. There may be something there that is turned off. Also, check whether your phone signal is weak. If it is, that is more likely the reason why you are not able to send text messages. If you've tested these two things already yet you are still having difficulty sending text messages, you may want to go back to the seller of the device and have it diagnosed. If it's just one week and they detect some hardware problems, they should replace it completely for you.
