Manage Notifications and Quick Settings Panel on Google Pixel and Pixel XL

Edited by Jay

The Google Pixel and Pixel XL makes accessing your notifications and quick settings a breeze. The notification panel is very helpful for organizing critical updates and happenings on your device, such as; missed calls or texts, application updates, in-app notifications, power and battery information, etc. You can also configure which apps will display notifications in both pull-down panel and your lock screen. We'll also show you how to enable notifications lights, which by default, are disabled when the device is shipped.

The quick settings panel sits directly above your notifications and displays relevant settings and features such as screen brightness, WiFi, data, sounds, all of which can be edited and rearranged to suit your preferences. You can add the settings that you access most frequently, saving having to go directly into the device's main settings area.
