**Please Note** Video calling is a service provided by your mobile carrier, and as such, it may not be enabled on your device. If the option is grayed out and there is no way to turn it on via settings, contact your service provider for additional help.

Make a Phone Call on Samsung Galaxy S8

Call Settings Galaxy S8

In addition to the options that can be enabled or disabled during a call, there are general call settings that can be edited as well.

    On the main calling screen during a call, there are a few options that can be enabled/disabled to enhance your conversation

    To place a call on hold, enable extra volume, view contact or send a message, tap the three-dot menu in the upper right corner, followed by the option from the drop-down.

Start a Conference Call on Samsung Galaxy S8

    To begin a conference call, dial and contact to a contact, then tap the "Add call" button.

Tips, Tricks and Warnings

  • Set specific ringtones for different contacts so you can identify who is calling when your device is out of visual range.
