## Rose that has not Bloomed

- 1Cut a paper into a square shape.Advertisement
- 2Make the colorful side of creative paper facing up towards youAdvertisement
- 3Then open it up again. The purpose is just to make a crease at the center.Fold the square paper in half going inside.
- 4Line at the back side, since the front side is what will be displayed. And the back side will be covered as you fold the paper.Highlight the crease at the center by lining it with black ink.
- 5This will form four equal squares. Trace the fold using a writing tool.Fold the upper halves and lower halves again, making them meet each other.
- 6From the upper right to lower left and upper left toward lower right. This will form 16 squares and four triangles. And the crease will also be lined, but using red marks.Fold the square diagonally.
- 7Then turn it halfway horizontally.Return the folded paper back to its original position, where it was not folded.
- 8The lower part of the paper is folded in one third. Then again spread the paper to its original position and fold into three parts like folding a letter.
- 9Perform again the last two steps. Now the crease will be marked with green ink.Open the paper, then rotate 90 degrees.
- 10And fold the green lines by making a valley fold.Fold the red and black lines going upward into a form of mountain fold.
- 11Keep the fold at the center mounted while you press down the rest of the horizontal and vertical folds.
- 12This will make a flat square.Press down the four corners of the center part.
- 13Label every square into quadrants. The upper left is quadrant 1, upper right is quadrant 2, lowers left is 3 and lower right is 4.Turn back the paper, so the colorful side will be facing you.
- 14The two lines should align equally.Raise the quadrant 4 and rotate it 90 degrees, turning counterclockwise, to reach the left vertical line of quadrant 2.
- 15Keep on rotating the paper 90 degrees until you have reached quadrant 4.
- 16The four sides are the petals and the center is the bottom part of the flower.
- 17Turn the paper upside down and this will make a rose not yet blooming.
- 18Then place in a jar.You may attach paper leaves into the flower or into the wire stem.

### How to make a paper double flower?

*Can you give me the steps on how to make a paper double-flower?*

- 1Fold one sheet of paper into a triangle, by folding it across, and cutting off the bottom section.
- 2Then, fold it over again into another triangle.
- 3After that, fold it over once more.
- 4Press the edges down so the folds are kept.
- 5You should now have a small triangle.
- 6Open the paper, and you will have a big paper square, with eight sections to it.
- 7Now, fold one long straight edge into the middle, so that your paper becomes a rectangle.
- 8Fold the next edge into the middle, the same way.
- 9Do this for the other two sides, until you have a square, folding into the middle each time.
- 10Once more, open your paper.
- 11Now, take one corner, and fold it into a diamond using the creases in the paper, pressing it flat.
- 12Repeat this for each corner, until you have a square once more.
- 13Make sure all of your paper creases are pressed flat.
- 14Now, from the center, fold each point of your paper square out to the edge, leaving about a half an inch from each side.
- 15Then fold each of these sides over into another triangle, folding twice per side, to get both sides of each triangle.
- 16Now take the long edges of your paper square, lift each triangle up, and fold the edges into the middle.
- 17Repeat this for all four sides.
- 18Pinch and fold your design together, and bend down the outer corners of each side so it keeps the shape.
- 19Fold down the points of your new shape from the inside, bending outward, and you've now made a double paper flower.Advertisement
