You're watching VisiHow. In this video, we're going to show how to make a quiz using Google Forms.
Click the red "NEW" button in the top-left corner.
Move the cursor to "More" in the drop-down menu.
It is the last option on the list.
In the expanded menu that appears, click "Google Forms".
Click the text box labeled "Untitled form".
Give your quiz a new title.
Let's name this quiz "Quiz".
Click the "Question Title" field.
Enter the first question.
Let's type "When did Columbus sail?"
Let's leave "Multiple choice" for "Question Type".
Enter the correct answer as the first choice.
Enter some other random numbers below.
Let's type "1550", "1532", and "1592".
If you want to make sure this question is answered, check the "Required question" box.
Next, click the blue "Done" button in the lower-left corner of the window.
Click "Add item".
This will allow you to add another question.
Click the "Question Type" drop-down menu.
This will be the name field.
Click "Untitled Question".
Once again, click "Done".
You can click and drag the top of the "Name" question to the top.
This will reorder the questions.
You can also add a required field for an e-mail address.
Click the "Question Title" field and type "Email".
Click the "Question Type" drop-down menu and click "Text".
Check "Required question".
Drag the "Email" question to the second place between "Name" and "When did Columbus Sail?".
Click "Add item".
Let's add another type of question.
Click the "Question Type" drop-down menu and then click "Paragraph text".
This is an essay question.
Click the "Question Title" box and type the question that should be answered.
In this case, this will be "Describe how to build a house".
When these fields have been completed, click "Done".
Click the "Question Type" drop-down menu and then click "Checkboxes".
In the checkbox-type questions, respondents will choose correct answers out of several.
Click "Question Title" and type your question.
Let's type "Which of the following are operating systems?"
Type answers by pressing "Tab" after each entry.
Let's type "Windows", "OS X", "Linux", and "Bootcamp".
Click the checkbox-type question.
As with multiple-choice questions, more than one answer may be correct. There are a few options above the "Send form" button.
You can click the text box that reads "Your response has been recorded" if you want to customize the confirmation page.
You can also check or uncheck boxes for the three other options.
The box next to "Show link to submit another response" is currently checked. Let's uncheck it so that respondents can only submit one quiz.
When your questions and quiz options have been chosen, click "Send form" at the bottom of the page.
Copy the link from the "Link to share" field by highlighting it first.
Paste the copied link into a new browser tab.
For this tutorial, let's quickly complete this quiz and click the "Submit" button.
Once "Submit" has been clicked, return to the Google Forms builder.
At the top of this page, you can see that there is one response.
Click the "Responses" tab.
Click"View responses" in the drop-down menu.
A new tab will show a Google spreadsheet that contains the answers for that quiz. You can use this spreadsheet to view all of the responses you receive.
In "How to Use Flubaroo to Grade Documents" and "How to Use Grade by Hand Function in Flubaroo", we'll show a quick way to grade the responses using the Flubaroo app. This was a tutorial on how to make a quiz with Google Forms.
