Hello. You are watching VisiHow. In this video I'm going to show you how to make group chats on Facebook Messenger using the iPhone 6.
To start, we need to unlock the phone using the finger lock, in this case.
Go straight to the Facebook Messenger application.
It looks like a white and blue icon with a lightning bolt sign inside of it. Give it one tap.
We are in the messaging history.
To create a group chat we need to switch our attention to the bottom menu bar. This second sign says "Groups." That's where we need to tap. Single tap.
Here we are.
There is one existing group here already but we going to show you how to create another one.
If we look on the top right corner of the phone we will see a "Create" option.
Tap on "Create."
Let's give this group a name.
Tap on the top to name this group.
Let's say it will be a "Secret family chat." Tap "Done" to save.
Now, we can "Add People." In order to "Add People" we have to tap on the ones that are suggested by Facebook Messenger.
Tap one and the checkmark has appeared.
Scroll down for two.
Scroll down until we see somebody else we would like to add. I don't see anyone else.
Now, to save our changes and our progress tap on "Create" in the top right corner of the phone.
It will take a second or two.
The Secret chat has been created.
Let's see who the members are. We can already see from the icon that there are three participants. Let's tap it.
Here is the "Secret family chat" and we can start messaging.
"Hi,." Tap "Send" to send.
As soon as people receive this message we will see two pictures next to the message we just sent.
You just watched me show you how create a group chat on Facebook Messenger.
