Simmer all of the ingredients for about one hour until cooked and then puree it all in a blender until smooth.   • Parsley can last a long time if stored in a glass of water, whether stored in or out of the refrigerator

  • When shopping or capers choose those with the lowest sodium level as they are packed in sodium chloride, which can be less than ideal for those on diets supporting kidney or liver health
