    To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on the top of the phone.
    Once the phone has been activated, we will see the lock screen.

    To unlock the phone, swipe the screen upwards.
    Once the phone has been unlocked, we will see the home screen. At the bottom, we will see icons. It is one of these icons that we now need to access, as we need to open up the applications folder.

    Find the icon at the bottom center of the home screen.
    It looks like a grid made up of white dots. Press down on the white grid icon, and it will open up our applications folder.

    Find the YouTube application.
    The YouTube icon is a big red button with a white triangle inside, and underneath, it says the word "YouTube". This YouTube application may be in any position in this folder. Find it and press down on the icon to enter the application. What we want to do in this video tutorial is to show how to leave a comment on a YouTube video. To do this, we will need to find a video. We are going to use one from our playlist.

    Press the icon consisting of three horizontal lines at the top left-hand corner of the screen.
    A menu will open. We want the "PLAYLISTS" section.

    We will tap the video to pause it because we don't need to listen to it right now.

    Scroll down to the comments section.
    It says "Comments" at the top of that section. When we first press down on this section, it will ask us to set up a Google account. In this demonstration, however, we already have this set up. It's a very painless process. Just press down on the "Yes" button, and it will create one for you. It's not the same account we used to set up the HTC One M8, but it's just a little account that's created in order for us to use YouTube.

    Press down on the field where it says "Leave a comment".
    It will open up a new section where we can comment.

    Type in some thoughts in the field where it says "Share your thoughts".
    We're just going to put "Great", not a huge amount of information. Instead, let's put "Nice". We are going to post this. Obviously, a more descriptive comment can be added, but we're going to keep ours succinct.
