You are watching VisiHow. In this video, I am going to show you how you can label an email on the Gmail application on an iPhone 6.
To begin, we need to unlock the phone by pressing the lock button on the side or the home button at the bottom to bring up the lock screen.
Swipe right to enter the passcode or we can use the fingerprint scanner to unlock the phone.
Find the Gmail icon which is this white one here and tap once to open up the application,
As we can see, we have already signed in with one of our emails so it has taken us straight to our primary email list.
We need to open whichever email we want to label.
Then go to the arrow in the top right-hand corner.
This will bring up a new menu
Tap "Label..." which has a nice picture of a label above.
It will ask us what we want to label it as.
We have the option to add new labels which we haven't done so our only option here is "Notes".
We can tap the check box on the left side of the words "Notes" and then press "Apply" at the top right-hand corner of the screen.
We can press back to go back to the primary email list.
Then press the icon with three lines to open up the menu.
Then press "Notes" to see all the emails that are labeled as Notes.
This is a VisiHow video and I have just shown you how you can label an email in the Gmail application on an iPhone 6.
If you have any question, comments or queries, feel free to add them to the section below and we'll do our best to get back to you.
