ON MY LG T-Mobile PHONE THE TEATHRING BUTTON IS GREYED OUT. HOW CAN I TURN IT ON?

TETHERING BUTTON IS GREYED OUT ON LG PHONE T-Mobile SERVICE STATES THAT IT SHOULD NOT BE. I have tried: I CONTACTED THEM. I ALSO UPDATED WINDOWS APPLICATIONS. PERHAPS A BIOS UPDATE WOULD HELP. I think it was caused by: UNSURE. IT HAS WORKED IN THE PAST
