My Samsung Kies software is trying to import my contacts using Outlook?
I'm trying to backup my contacts from my phone to my computer and the only option I am given is to use Outlook, which I do not have or want. The instructions show that I can Import/Export the information but this is not on my software. This is the latest firmware.
If you are using the latest version of Samsung Kies 3, you are using the wrong version of Samsung Kies. Samsung Kies 3 supports devices released in October of 2013 and newer; your Samsung Galaxy S4 was released before then, so you must use the original version of Samsung Kies. Click here to download the latest version of the original Samsung Kies. The reason your computer was asking to use Outlook is because that software was pre-installed on most computers before Windows 7 came out. Once you've installed the original Samsung Kies and uninstalled Kies 3, simply plug your Samsung Galaxy 4 into your computer, follow the onscreen instructions, and you'll be able to back your phone's contacts up to your computer.
Can I open my contacts on Kies without Outlook but Gmail instead?
I can't afford to buy Microsoft Outlook, are there any other way to access my .spb files?
