Join Public Chats on Viber Using iPhone 6

You are watching VisiHow, and in today's video, we are going to teach you how to join public chats on Viber with the iPhone 6.
Place your finger over the home button at the bottom of the screen to use the fingerprint scanner to access the home screen.
Find and tap on the Viber icon.
It is purple and has an image of a phone on it.
Viber has opened the Chats window.
Tap the "Public" icon, which is the fourth icon on the menu at the bottom of the screen.
This will open "Public Chats".
These are open groups where people exchange information according to their interests. One example is a fitness group for people interested in the latest exercise and fitness tips.
There is a Viber team that shares information about Viber updates and features.
There is also a culinary, cooking group.
Tap on the magnifying glass at the top left corner of the screen to search for a Public Chat.
Alternatively, tap on the "Explore" button near the bottom of the screen.
This basically does the same thing as the search icon.
The "Explore" window features several popular and suggested groups.
Scroll down to see them.
Near the top of the screen, tap on "Worldwide" to see the most popular groups from around the world.
Tap on the "Search" bar at the top of the screen to search for a particular group.
For this example, we will search for yoga.
To close the keyboard, tap Done just above the keyboard on the right side of the screen.
Two yoga groups are suggested.
Tap on a group picture to open that group and get more information.
The name of the group is shown at the top of the screen, and various messages in the chat are displayed.
The number of followers is shown right under the group name.
Scroll down to read the messages, posts, and suggestions from other members in the group.
To follow the chat, tap on "Follow this Public Chat" at the bottom of the screen.
A small screen appears with three options.
You can "View Terms & Conditions", "Accept & Follow", or "Cancel".
Tap the middle choice, "Accept & Follow" to follow the group.
The group will now appear in the "Public Chats" window.
Tap the magnifying glass at the top left corner of the screen to do a new search.
Tap on the search bar to enter a new topic.
The next search example on this video is "cooking".
Tap "Search" at the bottom right corner of the keyboard.
The keyboard will automatically disappear after tapping on "Search".
Tap on a group image to open that group.
Group participants are those people who were approved by the administrators and founders of the group.
They add daily contributions to the group.
The Cooking group, "Daily Kitchen Corner" contains several recipes and helpful cooking tips.
Tap on "Follow this Public Chat" at the bottom of the screen to follow the group and receive daily notifications from it.
Tap the arrow at the top left corner of the screen twice to go back to the "Public Chats" window.
There are now two chats listed in "Public Chats".
To unfollow a public chat and quit receiving information from it, swipe across from right to left across the chat name.
A red square with an X will appear on the right side of that chat.
Tap on the X in the red square to delete the chat.
Viber allows you to join more public chats based on your interests.

You might be using Viber on a Windows Phone, for example, on a Lumia device. This feature was promised to be added to Windows Phones; so, check your application for updates every month or so to see if the feature is enabled.
