My phone won't read my SD card when I put it in?
I just tried to put music on my phone that I put on my SD card from my computer and then it was moving really slow; then it said one of the files couldn't go on my SD card. I unplugged my phone and now it can't read my SD card anymore.
Your problem sounds like it may be coming from the fact that your SD card has broken. There are a few things you can try to fix your SD card; it may also just be corrupt and will need a reformat. If your phone is unable to read your SD card, do the following:
- Plug your SD card into your computer.
- Download this application.
- Run the application and see if you can format it.
If you can format your SD card, you may be able to use it in your phone. Follow the instructions in the VisiHow guide below to be able to use your SD card in your Samsung Galaxy S5. Unfortunately, if your computer does not recognize your SD card either, you will need to purchase a new SD card, as the one you own is defective.
