Is there anyway possible to fix a "blank or unsupported file system" 16GB SDHC card?

I've already tried to format it on my Android, but I just can not seem to get it for some reason. Also tried on a Laptop, with no success of course. It says that I don't have the "rights" to format the card. please tell me its fixable, Really hope I don't have to buy a new one...

It sounds as though your SD card may be incompatible with your device. Try a different SD card in your device and see if it works. If it does, the problem lies with your SD card. If it doesn't, it's likely an issue with your phone.
