I had encrypted my SD card and secured my phone with a password of 6 alphanumerical. I lost my phone and I just wanted to confirm whether anybody can easily gain access to my SD card data?

Also, If the person factory resets the handset, I believe all data in the phone will be erased along with the password. So, then can the encrypted SD card be read on my phone?

Encryption corrupted photos in my phone?

Hi there, I recently encrypted data storage on my HTC one m7. After a few days, I noticed that all the photos are now unreadable. I have tried to restore using HTC sync manager- but realized that I had sync manager set to auto backup so the phone was backed up again with corrupt files

Samsung S5 SD card encrypted and performed a Factory Reset on my phone?

Hi, my Samsung Galaxy S5 was encrypted and so was my SD card. I was having email issues at work and they advised to back up via Samsung Kies and reset the phone to Factory. Little did I know Kies does not backup the SD card data. Phone was reset and now unable to access my SD card data (photos/videos). I can see them on the SD card but cannot open them or view them. Tried via a PC as well. Can you help me get access to my SD card data. I have been advised the Samsung S5 encryption uses the phone IMEI number and phone lock password. I still have that info. Can you un-encrypt or get me access to my data as some of the photos are irreplaceable

SD encryption keeps making my phone go into safe mode?

I recently got a new SD card that I inserted into my phone while it was still on. At first I got a message that stated "preparing SD card - checking for errors" and the I follow guidance on encrypting the SD card thinking this would be necessary. The card is now encrypted but it automatically makes my phone go into safe mode even when I attempt remove it. I just need the SD card to download movie files. Can I bypass encryption and is there anything else I need to do so that I can use the SC card? Thanks in advance.
