Inviting senior manager to a meeting?

I'm inviting a director of a department to a meeting. I've seen him around but never introduced myself. Can I refer him by his first name or Mr xxx

Because he is a Senior Manager it would be proper and advised to address the invitation formally with Mr., position title in the company. If the meeting is hosted by someone else, then you would word the invitation as their request or the company's request. You would then sign your name and position in the company below Sincerely.
