Internet browser won't shut down and cache won't clear due to security settings?
I can't get the internet to shut down on my Galaxy Note3. I don't know if there is a virus or not, but I have done all 4 options to shut the web pages down and they keep popping up. . . 2nd my security setting won't let me clear cache. How do I change that?
Put the Samsung Note3 into Recovery Mode and Wipe Cache Partition and Clear Dalvik Cache. This will remove the webpages and also clear the cache from Security. If the problem still persists then you should hard reset the device but do not back it up since you suspect a possible virus. If you back it up you could inadvertently back up the virus as well. Install and use an app like Chrome instead of the built in stock Internet choice. This way if you encounter an issue again you can uninstall the app and reinstall. Also, it will import your bookmarks if you use Chrome on the PC which comes in handy when you are on the go and need to look up something you bookmarked.
