You're watching VisiHow. Today I'm going to show you how to install the Google Calender on your Samsung Galaxy S5 or S5 Mini.
To start with, press the power button on the right-hand side of the phone.
This will open up your lock screen.
On the lock screen, slide or swipe one time to unlock your phone.
Tap on the Google Play Store icon.
If you do not have the Play Store icon on your home screen or you've moved it, simply tap on the checkerboard icon at the bottom labeled Apps.
Scroll around until you find the Google Play Store icon.
It's a white briefcase with a multicolored triangle in it. Tap on that.
Once it's open, tap on the search bar at the top and search Google Calender.
You can see I've already searched for Google Calender so I'll just tap on that.
You'll see at the top the blue icon with a 31 called Google Calender which is from the official Google Inc.
developer. Make sure you don't click one of the other applications, it's not from Google. You want the actual Google Calender. Tap it one time.
You can see here I have the option to uninstall it because I've already installed it so that you don't have to sit through a download and wait for me to finish downloading it.
You will tap Install and once it's installed, tap on the green Open button to open it. There will also be an icon which should appear on your home screen that you can also tap. We will just press open.
This will open up the Google Calender which lets you know that you can make the most of every day by using Google Calender.
If you swipe over.
You can see that Google Calender is easy to scan and lovely to look at, and lets you have schedule view which gives you images and maps right on your calendar. You will need to have device location enabled for that.
Swipe again and it says we can fill in the calendar quickly and easily, Google uses the same technology they do when you're filling out searches or search functions.
If you have events from Gmail that are synced then they will automatically be set up for you.
Now we're just going to tap on Got It at the bottom.
Here we go.
Our Google Calender is set up and ready to go. You can see that I have already synchronized some of my calendar events, you can see there VisiHow is Great, and the Persian new year has synchronized and we have stuff in April.
This concludes our tutorial on how to install and launch the application.
Thank you for choosing VisiHow. If you have any questions or comments please let us know in the section below. Thank you, have a great day.
