You're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to insert an "Easy chart" graph with a table in S Note on the Samsung Note 10.1.
Before we begin, make sure your device is unlocked.
You should be on the home screen.
Once you are on the home screen, locate and tap the application folder.
The icon for the application folder is in the lower right-hand corner. It is a grid with white squares.
Locate and tap the S Note icon.
You can find it by scrolling through the application folder. The S Note icon is a red box with an "S" inside of it. In this video, there's a blank document into which we can insert a table chart.
In order to insert a table chart, tap the first bottom-left option.
This is the insert option.
Tap the fourth option in the insert menu, "Easy chart".
A new window will appear with the types of charts you can insert.
Tap on "Table".
To create a table, you need to use the S Pen to select rows and columns. The S Pen is located in the top right-hand corner of the device behind the screen.
Find a little notch and pull the S Pen gently out by the notch.
If the device sound is on, you will hear a click when the S Pen is taken out.
Tap on "OK".
Create the table.
You can tap on the "Column" and "Row" drop-down menus to select the number of columns and rows.
Also, we can select by tapping and dragging the S Pen across the boxes on the screen.
After you've selected the correct number of rows and columns for your table, tap on "Done".
A table will appear in the workspace. The table will be ready for editing. You will see "Dataset 1" and "Dataset 2".
At the top, we can tap on the space to the right of "Units".
Specify a number of units. Let's enter "50".
Edit the table by tapping on the blank cells and entering values.
If you are not satisfied with the table, tap on the "Undo" icon.
It's underneath the word "Cancel".
You can also tap on "Cancel".
When you have finished editing the table, tap on "Done".
It is in the top right-hand corner of the screen. A window will appear informing you that this chart will be resized to fit and then inserted into an S Note page.
Tap on "OK" to proceed.
The chart will be inserted into the note.
You can draw on the chart with the S Pen.
When you have finished, tap on the checkmark in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
This will save your work.
