Insert Header and Footer in Word 2010

Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, I'm going to show you how to make a header and footer in a document in Microsoft Word 2010.
The first thing you need to do is go to 'Insert', and here we can find the Header section.
I'm going to click on 'Header'.
There's a number of options, depending on the style you'd like.
Choose which one looks best to you, or that you like the most. We're going to go with Alphabet.
So here, we're going to type the document title.
This is a novel, so I'll type, "Revenge of the Killer Spatulas".
So now that we're happy with that, we can just click off of the text by double-clicking out of the area.
On every page, there is now a heading.
If we want to edit the heading, we double-click on it and make alterations.
Once we're done, we can double-click off of it.
And at the bottom, we can put a footer if we so desire.
Click 'Insert', and next to 'Header' is 'Footer'.
Now we're going to find one that we like.
There's lots of selections. Let's choose this one.
So here's going to have the page number, which is useful.
It makes it look a lot more official and makes it look more interesting.
And here we can also type something if we so desire.
For example, we can type the publisher's name.
Press 'Enter' if you want to make the footer bigger.
We can make the footer massive if we so desire.
Now double-click off of that.
And now if we look down, we have a footer.
And you can see at the top we have a header. There's different things we can do even with this. If you want, you can change the font, the size, or underline, or highlight the text. You can make it into italics, bold, or even change colors as you require.
That has been a video on how to insert headers into Microsoft 2010 Word document.
If you have any questions or any suggestions, then please leave them in the comment section below. You've been watching VisiHow. Goodbye!
