I'm from Philippines, sir; and my uTorrent is very slow in downloading. How can I speed it up?
I do like to download movies using my uTorrent, but my uTorrent is very slow
Always make sure that when you download films that you are not infringing any international copyright laws. Those work in any country. If you are a collector of obscure and noncopyrighted films, then the faster alternative could be Blu-ray releases of the films.
Now, let us get back to uTorrent. To speed up the client somewhat, you can, first of all, press "Ctrl" + "Shift" + "Esc", find "uTorrent" in the "Processes" tab, and assign a higher priority to the process. Then, open the client itself and go to "Preferences". There, in the "Connection" tab, check "Enable UPnP port mapping", "Enable NAT-PMP port mapping", and "Randomize port each start". Enter "443" into the "Port used for incoming connections" field. In the "Bittorrent" tab, check everything. Uncheck only "Limit local peer bandwidth" and enable the "Outgoing" option. Now, move on to the "Bandwidth" tab. Enter "70" into "Maximum upload rate", "0" into "Maximum download rate", "1890" into "Global maximum number of connections", "2329" into "Maximum number of connected peers per torrent", and "14" into "Number of upload slots per torrent". The last thing is going to the "Queueing" tab and setting "63" for "Maximum number of active downloads". Set "0" for "Seed while". Uncheck all of the remaining options
