I have a 7" Galaxy Tab 2 can it be connected to the TV?

The MHL adapter will not allow your 7" Tab 2 to connect to the TV. Consider using AllShare instead, which will let you mirror your device's screen on the television. You can find instructions for how to use AllShare in the main article.

I can't get a signal through from a Galaxy Tab 3 to the TV via a Samsung HDTV adapter?

When I connect a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 (GT-P5210) via a Samsung HDTV adapter (ET-H10FAUWEGWW) to a TV I can't get any signal. It says on the TV that a MHL device is connected but "No signal". I have tried both with and without a power cable. I have also tried all HDMI connectors on the TV without success.

Reading in a data sheet for the adapter it does not say that the Tabs are supported, but in that case what is the problem? I have found another adapter with order no. ET-H10FAUWEGUJ that is compatible with the Tab according to tech. spec. but I can't find if there is any difference between the one I got and the other. Can you help me out?
