If you can't eat in class, are their any other ways to stay awake?

I get tired during class but we are not allowed to chew gum or eat or even drink in class. Is there anything else I can do to stay awake.. I think it was caused by: School can just be slow at times.

How do I stay awake if I got no sleep from the past night?

I went to bed really late and now I can't stay awake in class. I have tried: sitting up straight and leaning back. I think it was caused by: last night from no sleep

You still had some sleep, which will make your staying up for another day viable. Basically, any comfortable position will make you fall asleep now; and you have to keep yourself strained and focused. Then, you need to take power-naps (10 minute of sleeping) between classes. You can even excuse yourself for a moment and walk out to a place where you can sit down for 15 minutes and place your head over your hands lying on the desk to fall asleep for 10-15 minutes. This will trick the organism and refresh you for several hours. Also, try not to eat to excess: eating will make your organism focus less on surroundings (so, the hardest time to stay up is after lunch). I have been using these ruses successfully for 4 years when I had to sleep for 3-5 hours every other night. Also, go to bed very early this night to refresh your organism for the next day.

How do I stay focused on what the teacher says?

Even though I am interested at what the teacher is explaining, I sleep during class. Even when I am writing and taking long notes, I sleep in the process. And I space out a lot, and eventually I don't get all what the teacher is saying.

How to stay awake during classes?

I always feel sleepy and eventually sleep during classes, this leads to loss of my studies. I am preparing for an entrance exam (jee) and already one and a half year has passed out, only half a year more, and if I get such sleep during lectures then I am done, please can you help me?. I have tried: 1) Going out to restrooms and washing my face..this only makes me awake for some 10-15 min..after that I sleep again...

I have to pull an all-nighter, how can I stay focused on the material?

I am a high school student, I fulled an all-nighter, I need to stay focused for 7 hours. How can I stay focused enough to get through the day? WHAT SHOULD I DO? My situation is different, because rather than staying awake in one class I need to stay up for 7 hours! I need advice on how to help myself be focused, and not scramble around, because I have a presentation! I have tried: I have tried coffee, water, notes, sleeping on the bus, paying attention, and sitting properly. I think it was caused by: I have this problem, because I needed to do my presentation.
