He might be in the process of forgiving you, but isn't totally over it yet. Don't rush him - give him time and space, but let him know you're there. If he's willing to talk about his feelings, then let him. Ask him how he truly feels. Show him how much you care about him through sweet gestures, but don't go too overboard. Don't show your impatience. If you're not happy with the relationship, then it might be best for you to break up.

I broke things off because I felt uncomfortable that he is younger?

I broke things off because I felt uncomfortable that he is younger, then after a month I started to call to ask for forgiveness, he couldn't take my calls or call back. Now we have an appointment and its been three months. I really want him to take me back. I have tried: Calling and sending WhatsApp messages. I think it was caused by: My insecurities with the 4 year age gap

How do I get him to forget horrible things I said to him?

I said some really hurtful things to my ex boyfriend when we broke up the first time and he forgives me for the things I said but the problem is Every time we talk about getting back together, he starts to remember those things I said and he ends up ending things between me and him before they can start again. What can I do to help him forget those things and be with me again? A little after we broke up, he started seeing another girl, and that hurt me. So I let my temper get the best of me and I said a lot of harsh things about him that hurt his feelings a lot. A little after that happened I texted him and asked him for forgiveness and he did. We slowly started talking and flirting again until he brought up the fact that those things I said to him still hurt him and it's blocking the feelings he could have for me. I kept apologizing but nothing worked. So we both moved on but stayed friends. Then he got a new girlfriend and I tried to be happy for him but I couldn't handle the pain so I had to stop talking to him for a while until one day I realized I miss him to much so I messaged him. He then began to tell me that he lost feelings for his girlfriend and his feelings for me started to come back. He eventually broke up with his girlfriend for me and we started talking about getting back together again, until one weekend he started acting weird, so I asked him what was wrong, and that's when he brought up the fact that everything I had said in the past had really hurt him and he wants to be with me but everything I said is still hurting him.
