I want to know how to back up my photos and notes from my Samsung J7 to PC via USB?
Tomorrow I will take my J7 to be repaired (does not connect via WiFi nor Bluetooth).. So I need to back up my stuff. Apparently, it does some back up to Samsung account; but I don't know where to see it. I have tried: Follow the instruction I find in internet but they are not exactly like what I see in my phone. Specifically, when I go to settings, account, Samsung. I see that there is a Gmail account associated, which is my Gmail address. (Just below my email account there appear Synchronization dis-activated. I press on it and it says (translated from Spanish): This device does not admit the synchronization with your Samsung account. I think it was caused by: I don't think there is a malfunctioning, it's just that I don't know how (and where) to do the back up
While the synchronization problem seem unusual, you can try adding both Google and Samsung accounts to your device. The Google account should be there by default. Please see the instructions on how to create a Samsung account on your smartphone. Please also check that the Google account is actually there too by navigating to our tutorial on how to set up your Google account. Once one of the accounts backed up your data, you can use it on another device by just entering an existing account: the data will be synchronized automatically.
As for your question relating to the USB connection, you can use Kies 3 to back up your notes and photographs. You can download Kies here: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/app/kies.
Afterwards, connect the smartphone to your computer with the original USB cable and launch Kies if it does not do that automatically. Click the "Back up/Restore" tab at the top. Ensure that both "S Notes" and "Photos" are checked and click "Back up" to back up your data.
