I want a meeting with our Vice President?

I wrote an email stating that I want to resign from my job to my HR and my boss. This made my immediate boss counsel me to retain. The news reached my VP and I was asked to send a meeting invite to my VP. Also, just to keep you informed....I had written a very strong resignation email outlining my concerns in this company.

It's important to keep in mind that your professional resignation letter will have either caused them to realize how critical your presence is to operations, in which case they will be scrambling to find someone to replace you, or you may have earned their respect, and your VP may in fact offer you a promotion. You will create a new invitation by going to File and selecting New. There will be an option called Meeting Request. Fill out the information needed and there will be an option to input the people that you want to attend with their email addresses. Click send and it will be sent to those invited.

Send a letter to each separate government official. Mention the meeting details and ask that they attend. If this meeting will be good for their political projects for the year then provide the details of who will be there.

I just want to make sure that what I am emailing is correct and makes sense. I have sent a calendar invite with packet included but not everyone has accepted the meeting. Need to see if we have a quorum. Does this make sense?
